Museum Catharijneconvent is the Museum for the Christian culture and art of the Netherlands. This remarkable museum is housed in a medieval monastery close to Utrecht's Dom. Get acquainted with famous pictures, ancient manuscripts, books, statues, altar pieces, ecclesiastical robes and relics. Due to a refurbishment the museum has been partly closed. Now the museum is completely transformed and reorganised. Visitors are once again able to enjoy the permanent collection on display in its full glory.

No.2 bus from Utrecht Central Station, your stop is Catharijneconvent on the Lange Nieuwstraat. At Utrecht Central Station you can print a free map at the InfoStopcolumn, showing the walking route to Museum Catharijneconvent. Travelling by car, follow the parking route (P) to multi-storey car parks on the Springweg or Strosteeg. Coaches may park on the Maliesingel or on the Lepelenburg.
