The Galgenwaard Stadium is situated at the edge of the city and is easily accessible via the motorways around Utrecht. The North tribune is the main tribune with its offices and rooms. There are 2,701 public and 2,504 business seats available on this North tribune. The South tribune is the tribune along the long side of the field and has a capacity of 8,002 covered seats and 52 places for wheelchairs. The renewed Bunnik-side with 5,552 covered seats is to be used for the first time this season. For the season 2003-2004 the Galgenwaard stadium has 21,072 seats. After work is finished on the other short side of the stadium, the stadium capacity will be close to 25,000 seats.

On the days that FC Utrecht has a match in Galgenwaard, there are special buses going to Utrecht from various places in the region. From Houten, Maarssen, Maarssenbroek, Vianen, Nieuwegein and IJsselstein, visitors can travel directly and cheaply by bus to Galgenwaard Stadium.
No parking problems: get in and out of the bus in front of the stadium!
You can also make use of subscription or bus cards. You can also buy an FC Utrecht Trajectkaart from the driver, which is cheaper! A return ticket costs € 3,75 and a 5-return ticket € 15,00.
The timetable of the FC Utrecht Express is valid for competition, cup and UEFA Cup matches. In Utrecht the buses only stop at Galgenwaard Stadium. Parking on match days
FC Utrecht calls upon visitors of Galgenwaard Stadium to come by public transport. With a ticket for the match one can make use of the GVU buses within the city of Utrecht free of charge. This is valid from an hour and a half before the match until an hour and a half after the match. In the city, Line 3 passes the stadium. The free travel is an experiment, which will be evaluated at the end of the year.
There are various parking lots for supporters who do not wish to come by public transport. These are reserved for supporters and there are free shuttle buses going to and from the stadium. The parking route for supporters begins at the end of the A28. On Sundays there is a route through Rijnsweerd towards the Uithof, on other days there is a route towards the Veemarkt. Along the routes there are signs showing the route and where you are supposed to park. Stewards oversee the parking. An hour and a half before the match there are free shuttle buses going to and from Galgenwaard Stadium from the parking lots.
