A special aspect of Short Stay Solutions is that only shared housing offered. This means that you will be living with other students in the house and will share the kitchen, shower, etc. Accommodation for Master's students are always single rooms. Exchange students often share a room. Each house contains a number of rooms. The rooms are not suitable for married couples or partners.
Available rooms are situated in international guesthouses. Cooking, bathroom and toilet facilities are always shared. Exchange students should budget between €375 - €450 a month for rent, master students between €450 - €650 a month. No separate non-smoking accommodation is presently reserved in international guesthouses.
The accommodations are fully furnished and decorated, and include crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and cleaning materials. Generally speaking, linen may be purchased from the owner of the property on arrival for a small fee. All accommodation is situated within accessible distances from various educational institutions. They are in the University Centre the Uithof, in the city of Utrecht or its suburbs. Although not all guests will end up in the city centre, you will never have to travel by bus or train for hours each day to get to Utrecht, unlike many Dutch students and staff members.
